John and Sue have made The Railway Hotel the best pub for miles. They are friendly and accommodating. The lines are cleaned regularly, my boyfriend assures me that it's a superb pint. The staff are smiley and helpful. The locals are good fun and decent. The food is excellent, especially fish Friday and Sunday roast. This is what a village pub is about. Well done and keep up the good work.
Great little Pub on the Corner, great food and great company, very welcoming
New owners took over this pub about a year or so ago now. Since then they have massively overhauled it. Lovely interior with an amazing array of railway memorabilia, great bear garden out the back and a good selection of drinks. Food is served for lunch and dinner - basic menu but decent quality. And there are cycle parks out the front now, so anyone fancying a pint and sarnie on a cycle ride is well accommodated here. Friendly staff too.

Quick pint after work. Very accommodating and friendly staff. Loads of outdoor garden space and the football on the many tv's inside. Think it's only the second time I've come here in 10 years of working nearby but can't be drinking and driving.

Had an excellent Sunday lunch here. Generous portions on both adults and children's menu. Unfortunately no room for dessert on this occasion but will be back. I think the lady who served us was Mel and she was really nice. The other lady who was blonde was very welcoming too.
